Real AI. Real simple.
Balanced territories, built for you.
AI asks a few questions about your business and current trade area, then builds a defined trade area. Using your proprietary data, demographic, consumer spending or market data, it builds balanced territories within that trade area.

A sample trade area, split into 5 balanced territories
Each territory carries about the same weight: the same number of people.
What it does
Define your target trade area and desired number of territories. AI creates custom territories using any combination of state, county, ZIP code, census tract, or block group boundaries—optimized through your company’s proprietary data or alongside demographic, consumer spending, and market variables. You will receive a high-resolution color-coded map along with a detailed breakdown of opportunities per territory (where applicable).
1. Tell the helper
Chat in your own words. “Five reps in Tennessee.” “Twelve people, three days, around Phoenix.” Or outline your area right on the map.
2. Pick what to balance
Balance the number of people, households, household income, your proprietary customer or sales data, demographic, consumer spending or market data, the size of the land, or just the number of areas.
3. Get the map and the list
Watch the territories grow on the map. Tap any place to move it. Download the list and hand each person their territory.
You do not have to write a plan
Most people cannot write the rules for dividing a trade area, but anyone can answer a question about it. The helper asks them one at a time, and turns your answers into the rules.
- What are you dividing: sales reps, franchise areas, delivery routes, people going door to door?
- How many territories do you need?
- What should be equal between them?
- Are there places that must stay together, or must stay apart?
- Do you have your own customer file to use?
Who it is for
Anyone who has to divide a trade area into territories and does not want to pay for big-company software.
Small sales teams
A few reps and a trade area to divide. Give each rep about the same number of accounts or the same sales potential.
Franchisees and owners
Carve an area into exclusive territories where each one has about the same number of households or the same spending power.
Delivery and route businesses
Divide a service area into zones so each driver or crew has a similar load.
Redrawing after a change
Added a rep, lost a rep, or opened a new area? Rebalance from the same map in minutes.
Samples and door-to-door
Companies handing out samples, selling door to door, or knocking on doors for a cause. Each canvasser gets about the same number of households to visit. Give us the customer list and we leave out the homes you do not want visited, then divide the rest and hand you the list.
Surveys, charities and campaigns
Anyone gathering information in person. Tell the helper how many people and how many days you have, and it divides the area to match.
Samples, but not to the wrong homes
A laundry-soap company wants to hand out samples of its new brand, but not to people who already buy its other brand. It has store preferred-customer data. Add that file, say which homes to skip, and the helper divides only the homes worth visiting into equal territories. You download a list of just those homes, sorted by territory, so canvassers never knock on a door they should skip.
- Skip the households you do not want to reach
- Equal homes to visit in every territory
- One list per territory, ready to hand out
What you can balance
People and households
The same number of residents or homes in each territory. The usual choice for canvassing and for franchise areas.
Income and spending power
The same total household income in each, so each territory has about the same buying power.
Your proprietary data
Add your proprietary file of customers, sales or leads and balance on that instead.
You can also balance the size of the land, or simply the number of areas.
Private by design
Your customer file is read on your own computer. We never receive it. The only things our server hears about are the words you type to the helper, the names of your file’s columns, and the places on the map, so it can fetch their outlines and Census numbers.
An honest word about the hard part
Areas cannot be cut in half, so territories come out close to balanced, not perfect. Every area belongs to one territory only, with clean boundaries and no stray pieces, and we show you exactly how close the territories are. If you would draw one boundary differently, tap an area and move it.
